It’s your place for the party. You bring the food and drinks you want and decorate however you like, as long as it can all be cleaned up by the end. Every party here includes:
- The whole room: all the swing sets, the commercial playground equipment, the basketball court, the trampolines and the arcade room
- Chairs and tables. That’s up to 4 tables to eat at, plus one each for the cake, the food and the gifts or goody bags
- Music. Send us your own Spotify playlist, or we’ll play ours
- A Happy Birthday sign with your child’s name on it
- An employee on site
- A pass for one free open play, so the birthday kid gets to come back!
Swinging in OUR Way (the full-service party)

Gratuity is not included. You get everything in the do-it-yourself party, and then we handle the food. We supply pizza, juice and water for up to 15 kids, Happy Birthday themed tablecloths, napkins, plates, cups and utensils, and a server who serves the pizza, drinks and cake to the kids.
At a full-service party, the 9:00am slot is a little different. Instead of pizza, we set out bagels with butter and cream cheese, coffee for the adults, and water, and everyone can eat whenever they want. At that one, we only do one group sit-down, to sing happy birthday and have cake.
Want to theme the party yourself but still have us order and serve the food? Book the full-service party and say in the booking notes that you’re bringing your own tablecloths, plates and supplies. Just know where our servers’ job ends.
Our servers only set up tables & serve pizza, drinks and cake to children. If you order extra food, plan on serving it and cleaning it up yourself. The same goes for decorations beyond tablecloths, napkins and cups.

Both packages include up to 15 children. You can go up to 32, and each child over 15 is $15.
Party times
Weekend parties run in four slots:
- 9:00 to 10:45am full service: bagels
- 11:30am to 1:15pm full service: pizza
- 2:00 to 3:45pm full service: pizza
- 4:30 to 6:15pm full service: pizza
Weekday parties show up at 4:30pm when you book online, but we’re flexible on the start time. Reach out if an earlier or later weekday start works better for you. Every slot gives you 15 minutes before the party to set up and 15 minutes after to clean up and head out.
Summer note: please contact us before booking a 4:30pm slot in June, July or August. That covers weekday parties, which are listed at 4:30, and longer parties, since extra time gets added onto the 4:30 slot. The thin walls of our warehouse do not hold the air conditioning well and by the last party it could be warm in here, especially during heat waves.
Is the party private?
No matter what day you choose, there is only 1 birthday party at a time and no open play during a party. Birthday Parties are private events, however we can only guarantee 100% privacy on a Sunday.
That’s because the room is also our showroom. Monday through Saturday from 10 to 5, a family shopping for a swing set can walk in and browse. In winter the chances of that are very low. They’re higher in summer and fall, and highest in spring. The play space itself is contained, so the kids can run around freely without wandering off.

What ages it works for
The sweet spot is 3 to 8 years old, but we’ve done parties for kids from 1 to 10, and they all have fun. The 1-2 year olds at a party will spend more time with the parents, the older kids spend a little more time in the mini arcade and basketball court.
What to bring, and what to leave home
Cake. We don’t provide cake, cupcakes or sweets with either package, so that one’s on you. The FAQ below has a couple of places we like.
Balloons are fine, but we don’t have any here. Whatever you bring, you clean up at the end, and we can’t throw away large garlands.
Face painters, characters and other entertainers are welcome. Families have brought in everyone from face painters to Batman. Just let us know ahead of time.
Your own food, drinks and decorations are welcome with either package, as long as it can all be cleaned up before you leave. With a heads-up, you can drop off reasonably sized supplies ahead of time, like balloons, decorations and light food or drinks. Our fridge space is limited.
No piñatas, please. We’ve had too many issues with them in the past, so we’ve decided against them.
Deposit, cancelling and longer parties
Deposit
To hold your date, we take a $99 deposit, and the balance is due on or near the day of the party. You can also pay the whole thing up front. Anything extra gets settled on the day.
Cancelling
You can cancel for a full refund up to 1 month before your party. If you have to cancel the week of the party, we do our best to help you reschedule.
Longer parties
Want a longer party? You can book two timeslots in a row if both are open. The other option is to book the 4:30pm slot and add time at the end, at $100 for each extra 30 minutes. Let us know about extra time in advance, not on the day of the party.
Booking a birthday party
The week of your party, we’ll call you to go over the details. Before that, call us any time with questions. Lauren’s email and phone are under Where We Are.
Open Play at Our Indoor Playground in Midland Park
Open play hours are usually Monday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm, and Friday, 10am to 4pm. The schedule on the booking page is always the current one.
We usually don’t have open play on weekends, because that’s when the parties are. When a weekend slot does open up, we post it on Instagram and Facebook, and a weekend booking only guarantees 1 hour of play. If it isn’t bookable on the website, it isn’t available.
How long you can stay
Your open play booking is good until we close. There are two exceptions:
- A private event. Sometimes we close open play early for a private event. If you don’t see an open timeslot for the hour after the one you booked (you booked 3pm and there’s no 4pm), plan on one hour of play. It’s on you to check this on the day of your booking.
- When we’re at capacity. That’s usually around the winter holidays, and a 1-hour limit may apply.
Plenty of families book a later timeslot and come in late. That’s fine, but play still ends at closing time. Book 4pm, walk in at 4:30 on a day we close at 5, and you get half an hour.
Good to know before you come
Ages and food
Open play is best for kids ages 2 to 8, and we keep adding things for kiddos outside that range, like nursery school equipment for the little ones. You can bring your own food and drinks. However booking open play is not private and we cannot guarantee you will get a table or seat on a busy day.
Waiver
Please bring a signed waiver. To save time, download the waiver form, sign it and bring it with you, or fill out a paper copy when you get here.
All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Group Events, Field Trips and Fundraisers
Besides birthday parties and open play, we host family gatherings, field trips and fundraisers here in the showroom. For open play with 15 or more kids, please reach out before you book.

What’s in the Room: Indoor Swing Sets, Trampolines and a Mini Arcade
The room has 6 large swing sets with rock walls, bridges, slides and tube slides, plus trampolines, a mini basketball court and some commercial playground equipment. The mini arcade is free with any open play or party. It’s all indoors, so it runs rain or shine.
The swing sets the kids play on are the same ones we sell in our showroom.

Where We Are
We’re at 59 Greenwood Ave, Unit 9, Midland Park, NJ 07432, in Bergen County. The showroom is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. It’s closed to walk-ins on Sunday, but Sunday parties still happen.

Party and Open Play FAQ
Do you provide the cake?
No, neither package includes cake, cupcakes or sweets. For custom cakes and cookies, Wish Upon a Pastry is right here in Midland Park (wishuponapastry.com). Mention NJ Swingsets to get 15% off your party order. For ice cream cakes, we point people to Dairy Queen in Wyckoff. The feedback we get is always “they’re the best.”
Where is the pizza from?
For full-service parties we use Natale’s Pizzeria in Waldwick, and it gets delivered hot to your party. If you’re doing a do-it-yourself party and want pizza, I’d recommend them too.
Who do you recommend for balloons?
We recommend Sweet Pea Balloons. Bring them in and clean them up when the party’s over.
Who do you recommend for face painting or entertainment?
For face painting, tattoos and balloon art, we recommend Jazzana (Janis). Bonne the Clown (Ivonne) does face painting, balloon art, magic shows, henna, glitter tattoos, cotton candy and more. Just let us know ahead of time.
Is gratuity included?
No. Full-service parties come with a server. If a server helped at your party, we highly recommend leaving them a little something!
