Description
The Psagot Playgrounds Mini Rope Swing Robinia is one of those pieces that kids gravitate to because it does not move like anything else on the playground. It is a group rope swing built from natural Robinia wood, with polyamide-coated steel cables that double as both the swinging mechanism and the handrails. The motion is more like riding a rope horse than sitting on a traditional swing — kids rock and sway together, which works their core and balance in ways a standard belt swing never will. It holds 6 children at a time, ages 5-12, with a fall height of just 3 feet 3 inches. ASTM F1487 and IPEMA certified.
BEST FOR: If you are looking for a swing alternative that gets a group of kids moving together instead of waiting in line for individual seats, this is the one I would point you toward. It fits 6 children ages 5-12, and the rope-horse motion gives them a physical challenge they will not find on a standard swing set.

What Makes the Psagot Playgrounds Mini Rope Swing Robinia Stand Out?
What sets this apart from a regular swing bay is the movement. The polyamide-coated cables create a rocking, horse-like motion that engages muscles kids do not normally use on a playground. They have to hold on, shift their weight, and find their rhythm — and because the cables are also the handrails, they always have something to grip. I have watched kids spend twice as long on this as they do on a standard swing because the motion keeps surprising them.
From a planning standpoint, 6-kid capacity in a 19-foot-8-inch square footprint is solid. You get more simultaneous riders than a two-bay swing set in less space. The Robinia wood holds up well outdoors and gives the whole setup a natural look that works in parks, schoolyards, and nature-themed play areas.
